Mohammad Taqi Delsoz
KACSO Head Program
Congratulations on 15 years of JRS meaningful journey in Afghanistan. Since we cannot come together on such an important day due to Coronavirus, please accept my true congratulations and thank you so much for inviting me to this anniversary.

As founder and head of KACSO, I am proud of being a partner of JRS since 2006. Of 31 years of my life, the best, sweetest, and most useful part is considered to be working in the education sector with the JRS team, particularly Fr Stan. Living a simple life, with humility, providing free meaningful services to vulnerable people, reaching out to communities without discrimination, with the least possible facilities, these are the lessons I learned from partnering with JRS. I remember Fr Santiago and Br Noel very well. I sat and talked with them in the JRS Office in Herat and learned so many things from them.

JRS restored hope in children, youth, and adults, and changed the life of many families by creating opportunities. Educational and employment opportunities are the two examples of JRS work in Afghanistan through which thousands of students found their path to higher education. In a nutshell, JRS has done and is doing fundamental work in Afghanistan.
The Coronavirus pandemic will hit hard the fragile economy of Afghanistan and its aftershocks will be felt for long. I hope JRS continues its services in these dark days and will restore hope to people now and for the future.
