I heard the name of JRS on a sunny day from a man who was like an angel of God and who found us in such a rural area. I joined JRS after losing my father to an incurable illness. My father was the most precious person of my life, determined, religious, and brave. I feel I can be as strong as he was. When JRS came, it was amazing and unbelievable that we could learn English in our own community. I was very interested in studying English, like I was dreaming to study more and professionally.
When I travelled to Bamiyan to study English and Computers, it was the first time I was travelling out of my province. It opened a new window towards a new world. The most effective thing that the new world introduced me to was online learning.

JRS and JWL (Jesuit Worldwide Learning) gave us the idea of starting an NGO, as a result of what we had achieved over the last six years. It was the best way of transforming all that JRS has taught us. JRS taught us not only English but also ethics, humanity, acceptance, equality, justice and peace. JRS supported me to be myself and to stand on my own feet so that I could share what I received with others who are thirsty to get knowledge and humanity.

JRS made me a very different person. It helped me to have the idea and imagination of being a leader. From the time I joined JRS, I am feeling lucky, a bit perfect and happy. I am also grateful to my family that stands at my back like a mountain, especially my mother for her many efforts and dedication.

Let me to end with a thoughtful quote from Hazrati Ali: Those who educate me make me their servant.
