Congratulations to all the JRS members on the 15th anniversary of JRS AFG. When I joined JRS in 2009, I had very little knowledge and no work experience. JRS paved the way to get experience in teaching and office administration, and enabled me to continue a Bachelor program in Bakhtar University as well as a Master’s in India at St Joseph's college. JRS thus opened new doors and horizons for me.
When I joined JRS, I belonged to a very poor and uneducated family who were not able to get higher education. However, right now I am preparing for my PhD and support my two younger siblings, who are on the way to complete Bachelor-level studies.
I have been working as dean of Computer Science and lecturer in a university in Kabul (Rana University) since August 2015. This faculty provides Bachelor level education to 1,800 students.
JRS has been the source of knowledge, experience and development of my career. I will always appreciate all the activities of JRS in Afghanistan.
